Why would think that? They just came off an actual winning streak where they have won games vs teams that were better than Columbus, at a time of the year where health and rest tends to have priority for some teams. They are bound to catch a team sleeping, or not playing up to standard. Of course they CAN lose the remaining 4 games, but to doubt them not to win another game is interesting.

I'm half expecting them to win 3 of the four so they can claim that being .500 is somehow good when there are loser points aplenty and .500 is well below average.

Well, the Sabres are still very capable of gifting games to opponents.

Especially since they could have put this game away in the 2nd. Somehow, they managed to allow a no name goalie to beat them.

Still, they are skating well and with energy. It took almost the entire season but they finally appear to be playing Ruff's system these days.

Goaltending ..... ALWAYS the difference.
