At this point I don't know if the coaching is horrid or are most of these guys just bad players who are never going to amount to anything but fringe journeymen or AHL lifers. They show zero signs of learning or improvement.

Ruff is solid. His resume speaks for itself. Not elite, but can get a team to the playoffs. I think the culture is just completely rotted. Bad habits don't die, I suppose.

It ain’t coaching. Our roster assembled is brutal. Poor drafting, development, and most importantly building/construxtion.

Jerry Forton is an associate GM. 0 experience in pro hockey before Buffalo and 0 playoffs during his 11 year tenure. Need I say more?

If all you see are mistakes, I don’t know what to tell you. As for scratching him, that has to be the hot take of the season so far.
