Listening to the Oilers broadcast is kind of funny. They seem to think that they’ve been a contender the entire time that McDavid has been there and that explains why the Oilers have had a hard time beating Buffalo over the last seven or eight years. Not that they weren’t ass for quite a while in that stretch and it’s only been recently that they’ve been a playoff team. Odd stance to take, but here we are.
