The Sabres are very clearly outmatched in this game to begin with. There's a reason the Jets are one of the best teams in the league...and why the Sabres are not.

But goaltending is the great equalizer. Reimer is keeping them in this, and, well, so is Comrie.

It makes you wonder how bad this team is defesively when you see goalies come here and get destroyed.

Comrie was awful for Buffalo or was it the defense?

Fix the defense! This team needs to play defensive hockey to compete for the playoffs.

The defensemen aren't the key to the defensive castle. It's how bad the forwards are at not being back, not being on the right side of the puck, and don't rotate to cover pinching d in the offensive zone. Fix that.

Side note, I’ve loved Nick Ehlers game since his draft year and when I thought he might become a Sabre was the most excited I’ve ever been about a potential trade.
