Not to say this will or won't translate to a win but I doubt we see the testyness from last night so probably no dulouble minors or 2 minute 5-3

FYI for the whiners who want to use very small sample sizes to make sweeping criticisms of the offseason...

Burns: 2-6-8pts in 10 games
TDA: 2-5-7pts in 10 games

I mean I fully expect Burns to have more goals by years end than TDA, and his slapshot from the blue line is great and all.

It's just, you know, the age thing, the cost thing, etc. At this point I'd be fine with it if we could just have Tro back

Some guy in a studio show on NHL Network just said that the Bruins are getting excellent secondary scoring contributions from guys like Stefan Noesen. So… I still don’t know that anyone watches us.
Based on that it seems they don’t watch the Bruins either.

Doesn’t Burns cost less then what DeAngelo is making with the retention?

Burns cap hit is $280k higher. So, a wash. He is signed one year longer. Remains to be seen whether that’s a good or bad thing depending on how long his conditioning stays elite. I will say through 10 games not a single thing about his game has screamed “37 year old.”

Five games ago it seems like everyone here was ready to send him to a nursing home.
