Wow. 90s syndicated TV shows were a trip. Super Force, Dracula: The Series,Time Trax, they’d never be able to do that stuff now.

The biggest difference is their aggressive PK vs our passive PK.
They leave no time and space to Makar and Mack to make plays, they bull rush them as soon as the puck is close to them.
Our PK, on the other hand, is just guys standing still and trying to block passes. Ultimately they're waiting to get scored on.

Funny. But the 2nd line has come alive with the addition of Landy. Brock is playing much better. Still passes when he should shoot but the 2nd line looks more legit now with Nuke gaining some confidence.
Be a shame to waste it now.....

In all the excitement of the goal, I didn't realize how well Nuke created the chance by kneeing the puck to himself before scoring.
Rants played his best game of the series. Maybe since his trade. He was absolutely motivated to close it out in Denver. Kind of a "Didn't want to pay me? I'll show you guys!"
Slapped that puck with some anger. Like he saw a piss cup in the back of the net
Get rid of Bennett. That'll fix the special teams.

Honestly I'm pretty shocked just how good Gabe the babe has played so far.
Nelson got jobbed by the linesmen repeatedly at the face off dot. He was unable to satisfy the linesmen's skate blade positioning. Meanwhile they were ignoring Hintz, et al's, rotated orientation which allowed Dallas to pull the puck back successfully nearly every time.
They tossed Coyle a few times too.
And refusing to drop the puck repeatedly, threw off the Avs timing and anticipation/readiness. MacK fared lot better. (Probably scared of him! lol)

The way Marchment and Benn keep chopping Cale, it would be no surprise....
Avs did not come out and skate as hard as they did in the 1st, Stars made adjustments in their forecheck and out worked the Avs in their own zone. And Blackwood sucked and gave up goals that should not have scored.
Makar lost track of Granlund. Manson went to help recover the puck on the boards his own zone and freed up Rantanen to score.

Ah f*** I forgot about this. I was yelling at the screen "Just drop the f***ing puck" it was like the linesman wanted to make everything about him. So many faceoff resets, so many delays, so many players tossed from the circle. It was infuriating. That whole segment was in the second period and it ground the pace of the game to a halt and that's when Dallas began to capitalize.

Half-wall guy passes down to the goal line. Goal line dude passes up to the slot. One-timer in the back of the net.

These playoffs are giving me a heart attack haha ! I honestly believe after we beat The Stars in this series, the rest will be a cake walk in comparison. The Stars in my view will have been the toughest of the lot.
There have been times I've wanted to get a plane ticket to Dallas and give some of these green phlegm players a proper ass whoopin.
Please don't think less of me for this, but seeing Duchene celebrate enrages me. But for some strange reason, Rantanen doesn't have that same effect on me (I still love the big lug, and truly believe if he could have his way in a perfect world, he'd still be with us), while Dutchy publicly wanted out, like Kyle Quincey those years ago.
Anyways, I truly believe we are bringing that cup back to Denver this season. Our team is a machine , and we are still really just building chemistry here.

Was really hoping to have come home to the boys in round 2 but game 7 it is. Saw game 1 before leaving so hopefully we exorcise some demons and the trip is book ended with another win
