This series is mackinnon pouting about rantanen being traded still. I don’t know if Cale is in his head about potentially being a witness in that wjc case but he’s been pathetic.
He better be broken. Can't believe a competitor like him would put out this kind of effort.
Makar scores with all the time in the world in the slot and we’re up 3-0. When you’re one of the best players in the league, a f***ing Ted Lindsay nominee then those NEED to go in. But no, it misses and they score the other way. And the next goal he effs up and boom 2-2. He hasn’t been good enough all series. But you are right, this is his best game. Sweet pass to Necas.

Mack and Makar got some time off before the playoffs and it sure didn't look like it helped.
Agree. He looks much more like Cale tonight besides that one goal. Just needs to bury. 31 teams would still kill to have him on their team. Should be looking at Mack

Cale forgets how to play defense and lets Granlund get behind him on the stretch pass. 2-2.
Sammy gets handled like a baby by Mikko. Nate with a lazy af backcheck on his man on the breakout. 3-3.
Nate selfishly thinking offense bailing the zone when there's a battle for the puck on the wall. They lose the battle. Manson can't block the pass. Nate's man Mikko wide open in the slot scores and ties the record for points in a playoff period. 4-3 Stars.
Nelson f***ing around all game. Nate sleepwalking. Cale having his worst game of the series in the biggest game. Blackwood can't make any saves.
Toews missing a glorious chance in the slot 10 feet wide.
Marty hitting the post on a 2 on 1 with the goalie beat.

3+ odd man rushes against.
Couldn't draw up how to throw away a game and playoff series any better than that.

Oh I totally agree but I’m looking at Mack and Makar far more than Bedsy. Coaches run their course but I’m not convinced these guys can win again with whoever we get behind the bench.

I would seriously change the GM before changing the coach. On surface it seemed like CMac has done a good job, but when you look at his bigger f*** ups, it’s what costing this team
You mean it’s not because Bednar overplayed them all season and they’re tired???

The team has absolutely dominated. Not scoring on glorious scoring chances is not a coaching issue. I still agree it's time for a chance if we don't win this though.

Stars have the better goaltender. Stars have the bigger and more physical defense. Stars win battles on the boards and in front of the net. Stars have forwards who can actually snipe.
Could have been 3 - 0 but instead, it's 3 - 4. Avs with the same old no finish offense.
P.S. Manson totally out of position on Rants goal.
P.S.S. Marchment beating the shit out of Makar in the corner w/o any response from anyone.
Not to mention:
Nuke is missing his super charger making him a shell of his former self.
Avs getting beat on their home ice. Stars clearly outplayed them in the 2nd AFTER making adjustments. I don't want to hear any sh!t about the Avs outplayed them but couldn't score.
These teams know each other too well and DeBoers knows how to beat the Avs. Bednar still hasn't figured it out how to beat the Stars and keeps hitting his head against the same brick wall. There's no point to a game 7.
Time to retool, put in a different system under a new coach.

Bednar is not responsible for the series loss if it happens but still needs to go. At times you need to replace someone at the top even while the people under him are struggling.
