Nobody said the Avs played well, we know they can play better. The Stars didn't play well, either. They hardly generated ANYTHING today outside of Granlund's breakaway post in the 2nd period until Benn scored, and then nothing after until Seguin scored.

The Avs need their PP to work. If it doesn't, no matter what the numbers say they are going to lose this series. You can't go 0-5 on the PP including a double minor to finish the 3rd and begin OT and expect to win.

I mean, Stars don't need to. All they need to do is get it in OT and do random shots from their good forechequing. It's not a coincidence that Avs have lost every single overtime game against the Stars.

Disgraceful effort. Watching it live, the lack of effort was palpable, especially after the first. Even MacKinnon was going at 3/4 speed. Either somebody lined their skates with lead, or they just didn't care. Easily the most embarrassing Avs performance I've witnessed live since the 16/17 season.

I have tickets for Saturday, too. Hope I see some heart this time.

Effort after the first? They were awful in the first and much better in the second and third…

You would think Bednar recognizes the importance of having four effective lines. Instead, that dumb **** tries to supercharge the first line and ends up neutering both Necas and Mack.

Someone castigated me for being so critical of Bednar after the game 2 loss. They said, trust the process. Well screw you and Bednar’s process you dumb ***. It’s maddening because it’s OBVIOUS you need to split Mack and Necas.
