Drouin not working on the powerplay(could argue Necas too). Take him out. Necas is not moving his legs with MacK. That's why he just keeps spinning on ice doing nothing. Take him off from MacKs hip.

Worst playoff loss and performance of this entire era. You can't even single out any one guy because there's simply too many to name. Drouin, MacK, Necas, Cale, Lehkonen...all guys you should be stoked to have in your playoff lineup and every single one just played one of the worst games of their entire f***ing careers. And on their captain's night of all nights. Inexcusable, pathetic, soft...whatever you want to call it applies.

And worst of them all could be Jared Bednar and his coaching staff. Refusing to make adjustments even the most casual fan would think is obvious, refusing to use his timeout (DeBoer has used two of his, one directly resulting in a goal) and being straight up f***ing dummied by the SAME f***ING COACH THREE TIMES ON TWO SEPERATE TEAMS. Makes you sick.

MacKinnon and Makar look like absolute scrubs but ya fire Bednar. Unacceptable from our stars. Our 4th line is better than our 1st line and the guy who misses 3 years of hockey looks better than at least 80% of the forwards. Sad.

I know we’ve led most of this series but I’m just not seeing it from our best players. Mack at least has some goals, Makar seriously needs to get his head out of his ass or this series is done. Get Drouin away from Mack and off the top line. Second line looked good and not because of Nelson. Nuke and Lehks with good games. Lando too. Very disappointing result.

I won’t say more than this about that 4 minute PP and the PP in general, absolutely f***ing pathetic.

If Avs lose this series, Bednar absolutely deserves to be fired. No excuses whatsoever not getting any production from the star players after all the moves CMac made giving up so much of the farm.

I'd be less upset if Dallas was just shit kicking the Avs and plain playing better. What really, really, really pisses me off is that this series turning around so aggressively in Dallas' favour is 100000000% on the Avs. They have played like absolute shit.

Losing Rantanen will be a franchise altering mistake. Necas is completely invisible int he playoffs.

As much as I think Rantanen was due for a severe over-payment and the contract wont age well (look at him on Dallas), you put Rantanen on that PP tonight instead of Necas and the Avs go 2/6 and we win this game 3-1.

Bednar has to figure this problem out.

There have been several snapshots of mac the last few games, and mebbe is just me, or you and me... or everyone here.. Something is wrong with mac. Thought it was not physical, but headspace. And that is infectious. How many organizations have I, we, we all... seen implode based on headspace conflicts. This team does not have the horses to compete deep in these POs this year, my opinion. But this team is collectively off too.

So your look at this is not unreasonable, at all. Frustrating af, but you live by the mac, you expire by the mac.

I think the shittiest part in all of this is, if we're being honest, this is the end of them being remotely considered a cup contender. They spent their assets. They went all in.

That's why it's time to get a coach who can build a system and do more with less. Get someone who can turn Necas into a 2C.

The Avalanche were the better team in this game, just like they were the better team in game 1 and through 40 minutes of game 2.

I still believe. I don't know why because I'm an eternal pessimist but I still for some reason believe that the numbers are telling the proper story, and that the Avs can and will beat this Dallas team.

Part of me wonders if they don't come out flying in game 4 now that the Landeskog game is out of the way and they know he can at least play normally - or as normal as one can after three years gone.

However, they HAVE TO figure out the PP. The Stars PK is not doing anything special, they are pressuring the Avs up high like crazy. Just get the f***ing puck down low and IMMEDIATELY drive to the net with the slot forward coming in for the rebound. It's not rocket science.

Yes. The eye test says the Avs could and should be up 2-1 if not 3-0.

Just get game 4 and go from there.
