Going to lose Rantanen for nothing? Here’s a hell of a return and I will use the picks in the trade to add another defenseman in Lindgren.

This series was over a month ago when we knew it was Bednar vs. DeBoer.

Period.

What a complete f***ing letdown.

Almost ended the game in regulation then came out in OT completely flat on the PP.

Bednar needs gone after this series. To even entertain the idea of retaining him when all other franchises would have moved on after all his playoff failures is asinine.

You get what you deserve. Avs best players skated into Stars traps over and over again and couldn't make any kind of pass once there. Hopefully we'll see new lines next game, with Drouin bumped down to the third line.

F***ing idiot coach can't tell that his lines aren't working and refuses to adjust. The top 2 lines are doing jack shit. Necas is invisible and MacKinnon is visible in the worst kind of ways. The bottom 6 and Manson are the only guys worth a damn right now.

The 4th line has had terrible metrics the last two games. Apart from LOC's offensive moments the line hasn't been as effective as they could be.

Well, the simple answer is that Bednar does his coaching at the start of the year, and then is done the rest of the season.

Also, the Brock Nelson trade will go down as a total and complete bust. Such a low-energy guy, plays slow, takes forever to make a play or take a shot. Naw. Not good giving up the team’s best forward prospect for that.

And that was the worst playoff game I have ever seen Nate play. I’ve already said what I think might be going on so…won’t beat a dead horse.

Anyway, that was really, really frustrating.

Avs outmatched in first period, but the rest was a very tight checking game. Dallas got a PP goal, we did not. Shades of Game 2 with a bad turnover on the blue line leading to a scramble in the defensive zone and short side goal on a statuesque Blackwood. Bad times man

This is my biggest complain. Where was the joy from the team? Yes third and fourth like played.. but top two look like they want summer holiday.

This is maybe the most disappointed by Makar I've been since he's been playing.

Also I'd love to punch Bednar in the balls for not playing Landeskog in game two, and also not playing him more in this game. He literally did nothing but good things. Just f***in stupid holding him out for the theatrics of game three.

Bednar needs to be fired if they lose this series instantly and unceremoniously.

Dallas hasn’t been the better team. They had one good period.

They don't need to be the better team, they just need to hang on and let the Avs shoot themselves in the foot. They can be the worse of the two teams and still win the series.

Agreed but MacKinnon in that second half of this game wasn't even good for an AHL team. I get it, you're getting targeted, but that doesn't excuse him from all the trash decision making with the puck like random drop passes on the power play to Star players.

Because Deboer only has to deploy his one strategy - clog up the neutral zone - and the Avs are completely neutered. We couldnt even get into the f***ing O-zone for 3 mins on a f***ing power play.
