Gabe was always great at that play to slow the play down, draw the opposition to him, and hit Nate with a short pass in full flight to jump start the rush.

Mikko took over that role a bit, and then Drouin, but Gabe might have been the best at it.

For real. This team misses his swagger . Kadri definitely had his down moments, but cant deny he had heart. Something that is really missing from this team right now.
