Very uneven in their play. It’s like JB is intentionally and surreptitiously screwing up our lines as a secret audition for DeBoer’s job. No chemistry. They look late in executing and disjointed.

I'm not saying they look good, I'm saying they looked better. They literally had 1 nice play in the first period and were dominated the rest of the way.

Like that we played grittier less finesse in that period. Landy is made for this style....like him with Coyle...but he looks good enough for 2nd line duties.

Completely fair. 8 has been utter dog shit this series. At least 29 has some goals, but tonight he has been ass.

MacK's non-elite hockey sense gets highlighted when his confidence is shaken a bit. McDavid has a tendency to start driving the net and forcing guys to take him out of the play when things aren't going well for him. Unfortunately, when things aren't going right for MacK he ups the risk and stupidity, and significantly reduces effectiveness.
