I'm in an "all-hands" meeting at work - I got in when there was 48 people, and now there is over 300. Someone forgot to turn off the "chime" when someone joins the Zoom call. I've heard a doorbell sound over 200 times in the last 3 minutes. I hate zoom more than you can possibly imagine. Kill me now - you know where my sanity went

We really need beginning of the season / post trade deadline Malinski tonight. If we get middle of the season Malinski..... We need Makar and Mason to both play 27+ minutes. Or maybe even move Toews over to the right for a few shifts with Lindgren and Girard.

I think it’s just for the PP.

Even the D have the burgundy jerseys for the PP2 unit.

We need to see what jersey he wears for line rushes.

Similar to Gabe, I thought this was going to be the plan anyway. Start EJ on the road where the atmosphere is intense, and Dallas has last change.

Then Malinski at home, for his first playoff game, where you can shelter him better, get the right matchups, and try to avoid the heavy forecheck from Dallas.

I'm nervous about how Malinski is going to do though. Girard is much better at evading a heavy forecheck than Malinski, and G struggled with it a fair bit last game. Can't be rushing passes and making turnovers.

Playing on this guys line tonight is going to be such a pleasure. Everytime he steps on the ice, has the puck, the crowd should be going nuts.

What an adrenaline boost it should be all game for them. Hopefully they translate it into positive hockey play
