Ryan Suter joins the list of Active NHL players at age 40

Happy birthday to Ryan Suter as of today, January 21st. Guy who was part of the great Draft 2003 Draft Class, a consistent Top 10 defenseman in his prime, one time Norris Trophy runnerup, 2X U.S. Olympian and even today, still a guy that's out there in 48/48 of his team's games to date.

Crazy that even with a draft of that quality, only 4 of them will probably make it.

Well…if 4 guys from one draft year play into their 40s that would actually be a crazy high percentage. I think the average would be less than one.
