I thought he was great this game.
At 23, soon to be 24, he is showing signs of offensive flair, I can only imagine what he will be like in a couple of years.
He was key to the winning goal and killing the final PP.
i couldn't find a Girardi thread, but i thought he was great too. Girardi will never be what he is not, an offensive Dman. Not sure why people are crapping on him for that. He was solid in his zone, played physical, was a monster on the final PP.

McD and Giradi are a big reason why the Ovechkin line was held in check.

That move he made to keep the puck in for the game winner made me laugh. Ovechkin just completely stopped I was like, "McD just broke Ovi"

McD is the man. Great D on Ovechkin. He showed a lot of heart, playing with bloodied cheek. Hats off.

Warrior!

McDonagh missing only one shift in the first after getting hit from behind by one of the hardest hitters in the league and still leading the Rangers in TOI. Where did they make this man?

After this series win, I can finally go back to watch the end of game two.... I heard the goal post and saw that the goal was probably going to stand since it was a point shot and just walked straight out of the house

I love how McD looks pissed and angry at himself. he's always so gentle so it's cool to see some frustration up front and that disgust in his face and body language and then see the series win in game 7.

Great player...Ovie should have been given a Match Penalty for that Charge...he only had one intention when he hit McD . I hope somebody gets Ovie one day...he deserves it...that was a really bad hit IMO .:shakehead

Great to see McD (and G) play as well as they did in this series after a regular season where they weren't as good as last year.

Gotta keep it up.
