Lindgren is probably more similar to Claesson than Bigras

I would tend to agree, a trade makes sense at this point, we didn't need another D-man.

I think Lindgren has a long term future here as 3LD.

Guy who plays with some bite, keeps things simple and can soak up PK minutes. As long as he’s played in that role, he’ll do well and people will like him.

I’ve said this before but when the McDonagh/Nash to Boston rumors started I’ve always said I hoped Lindgren was in the deal. He’ll be refreshing to see, defensive dman who can dish out big hits. Really good skater as well and can move the puck just fine. Doesn’t have high upside but can be a solid 4
