Doing some quick math, missing 10 games is 12.1% of the season, 12.1% of Hartman's $4M salary is $487k. I know NHL salaries are way more complicated than that and that the actual monetary penalty to him is much less than that. But it's still gotta hurt more than those pitiful $5k fines that DOPS likes to throw around. Plus if tries to FAFO within the year, he'll probably get slapped with a Raffi Torres like suspension.

Jt miller
4 game suspension
Crushed the back of his neck
Easily worse
So not like this at all, as I thought.

Hartman here did a slewfoot and drove the head to the ice with his body, Byfuglien cross checked. "Easily worse," shrug. That one's more comparable to stuff like the Myers or McDavid cross checks.

What the hell are you even talking about?

The discussion was about breaking a players neck, both are driving a player in the prone position to the back of the neck

One with a stick the other with a forarm

yeah - both plays were awful, potentially devastating, and completely non-hockey.
