He can appeal to Bettman within 48 hours. First game he can play will be March 9.
This is the longest suspension in Wild's history.

Hartman in his defence was saying he was using his arm on Stützle for balance as his excuse. Doesn’t sound like he is going to take the accountability;t ability road. Which is standard today. He deserves every single game too. Perhaps i missed it, but I would like to see some comments from him....some accountability on his part. Own up to it. Not only was it a dangerous play, but he also screwed his teammates over as well. And all on top of him being invisible this season.
Grit first, right Billy?

Looks like he has a no-movement clause this year, and modified no-trade clauses the next two. Specifically, the modifications are a 15 team no-trade list next year, and a 10 team no-trade list in the final year.Hes got 17 points in 38 games and his +/- is the worst on the team
-at 4mil it looks like he'll lose just short of 500k
pos of shit player imo - has dislike for him since the previous incident on the draw..
hes signed til '27..yay ntc?

Expensive mistake...
I believe Hartman is not a popular guy in the locker room after this.
I guess the GM will try to get rid of him.
Why would BG try to get rid of him? He's the kind of player that Billy likes....that "grit first" crap.
BingoI wish he would appeal, and the league would take another look and decide it wasn’t enough and make it more….
I had a co-worker who was sort of a litigious person with a very "me first" attitude, and they tried appealing to management that payroll had underpaid them for a period. Upon review, management and payroll discovered that they had actually overpaid them, and so they docked their next paycheck for that amount.I wish he would appeal, and the league would take another look and decide it wasn’t enough and make it more….
I don't necessarily hope Hartman loses more money, but the more this hurts, the less likely he is to ever do it again.
It was a bone headed thing to do. His actions reflect on more than just him. It reflects on the organization that employs him, as well as the city/state. In instances like this, I wish the teams had the ability to get rid of the player completely. So I guess if that negatively impacts the Wild, well guess what, they hired him. I guess they have to live with it the way the rules are written. I want nothing to do with him when he comes back. Total bush league. At a certain point, hoping for more games, wishing it was more games, those additional games are hurting the Wild more than anything. Suspend him for 20 games, great, now we just won't be able to ice a full team for the rest of the season. It's vindictive and I'm not sure there's as much logic behind it as there should be. He did a bad thing, absolutely, I never wanna see him do anything like it again. But it's getting pretty dramatic at this point.
And replying to your post doesn't mean I'm just singling out you. And I'm not trying to attack anyone with it either. It just doesn't make sense to me to wish it was more games.
