I'm taking the high road moving forward.
Add Aidan Thompson.Davidson mentioned Greene, Dom James and maybe Moore (can't remember exactly) as guys that could be coming next at forward

@Raymond K. The Blackhawks have offered James an NHL contract. I believe he wanted to burn the year and play in the NHL this season and the Blackhawks weren't offering that, especially with them already having so many players jumping to the NHL. I'm not sure how much there is to criticize Davidson on that one.
At least they are keeping Greene. Too many picks too soon. Is James going to take a Rockford contract or hold out looking for a FA initial contract elsewhere?
Nice article on Greene here by Powers. Also worth noting, Powers said this about Dominic James.

He said he was going to after Frozen Four.Is Greene signing? Article is behind a paywall
The guy was a 6th round DP who had a "nice" NCAA career. Not sure why Dominic James thinks that translates to leverage to make demands. IMO, he should be thrilled to get a professional contract.seems like a good way to have an ncaa player walk to ufa these days
His right to try it. Hawks right to not want it.The guy was a 6th round DP who had a "nice" NCAA career. Not sure why Dominic James thinks that translates to leverage to make demands. IMO, he should be thrilled to get a professional contract.

Depends on if he is he a center or winger. I suspect he'll start in Rockford as a C.would just think that a last place team would find a way to allow as many lotto tickets to see the ice as possible
What is the projection for Greene? Bottom 6 forward?
You don't think Greene goes back to college?Depends on if he is he a center or winger. I suspect he'll start in Rockford as a C.
His profile at BU is 1st PP unit and usually 1st PK and on the ice at the end of close games, leading or trailing. One of the puck carriers on the PP (Even last season with Celebrini). Good but not a great skater with no weaknesses. Covers a lot of ground and has little wasted motion. Takes good angles when defending in the neural zone as a center. I consider him more of a set-up guy vs goal scorer. Good size. Smart.
I'm not sure where to place him but at this point I'd say middle 6 potential. I'd be interested to see this Rockford line next season:
LW Oliver Moore(F1)- C Ryan Greene(F2)- RW Nick Lardis(F3)

The post is confusing because its a combination of Greene (C, 2nd round DP, BU) with a throw in about James (W, 6th round DP, UMD). It was James who wanted to burn a year.would just think that a last place team would find a way to allow as many lotto tickets to see the ice as possible

He will get a shot at making the big roster no doubtGreene is signing his ELC, curious if he gets any NHL time next year.
Good, as a BU fan I think he has been really underrated. Besides the Hutsons and Mack, he has probably been the best player in his tenure here.He will get a shot at making the big roster no doubt
Think he’s a ready made responsible bottom 6 guy right now. We will see if the offense can move him on up.Good, as a BU fan I think he has been really underrated. Besides the Hutsons and Mack, he has probably been the best player in his tenure here.
oh yeah they were roommates tooDon’t be surprised if he plays with Bedard. They clicked pretty well at WJC Canadian camp before Greene was a late cut.
