I still believe the same way about him, the points he's putting up is not that shocking for a 19 year old. I am glad that he's having a solid season, but his true test will come once he gets into the AHL.

Not shocking but becomes more impressive when you start looking at the rest of the team

TFW had a pretty nice rookie season in the AHL last year putting up 12 goals and 26 points in 43 games. It's early, but after 4 games he is leading the Monsters in scoring with 5 points. I love to cheer for the little guys, and this one in particular looks like he isn't that far off from his first taste of the NHL. Not bad for a 7th round pick in 2018...

Big fan of his and Monster fans on our board have better viewings than I do but I remember he really took off points wise later in the year when he got slotted up higher in the lineup. Hes short but is a really solid build, dude carries a lot of weight for his height but not to a point of hindering his speed or other skills

With 180 lbs he isn't that small actually. He's build like a tank. A small, but still a tank. And even a small tank can't be called small, when it comes to hockey.

I agree. 8 shots on goal last night too. I haven't been able to see him in action yet this season, but his stat line sure looks good for a player returning from a pretty serious knee injury. Fun player to cheer for, hope he gets a callup at some point.

with his current pace, probably wins the AHL scoring title this season
