Big winger with a real nose for the net. Very strong supporting offensive player overall. Can be disruptive in the offensive zone because of his long reach and can keep plays alive along the wall. Shot is good. Finishing in tight and scoring instincts are even better. Linear stride is OK, gets to where he needs to. But his skating lacks true dynamic ability right now. His edgework, balance, pivots are all weak spots IMO (this was especially noticeable at the Canadian Summer camp). He will need to work on his ability to alter direction while in full stride to be more of a factor in transition. It will be interesting to see how (or if) his skating can take some positive steps forward over the course of this OHL season. So many of the players in this crop from Ontario are going to be way different players in March/April than they are in September/October.

11 points (6 goals) in 28 games. 0.39 points per game playing third line and second powerplay. Rated as a ‘C’ prospect on Central Scoutings OHL players to watch list. Where does this guy go in the upcoming nhl draft?
