You actually think Michkov had a better season than Celly? lolCool, explain how Celebrini had a better season than Michkov without looking foolish

Celebrini did play with men, in the NCAAIt probably was a close vote between 3 and 4. But i would have given it to Wolf as he was a key reason the Flames almost made the playoffs. You can't look at his age etc. because he is eligible.
Michkov had warts. Benched on a number of occasions. Long stretches of no production. Tied with Celebrini but with many more games played.
Notice i didn't make the argument that Celebrini was younger than Michkov or hadn't had the advantage of playing in a men's league for a year before entering the NHL.... Because none of that matters.
Bless you little heart…Celebrini did play with men, in the NCAA
Celebrini had more overall playing time than Michkov, games played means nothing
Celebrini had better quality linemates
Celebrini did less during even strength minutes
Just admit you haven't watched him play yet.If you were to judge a player based on only his worst stretch of hockey, Michkov wouldn’t even be in consideration for the Calder at all based on numerous benchings / horrible play.
Based on the totality of Wolf’s play, he was fantastic and in any other year would win the Calder. He carried the Flames.
I admit you haven’t watched Celebrini play. Couple time i watched Michkov get benched for sucking hard!Just admit you haven't watched him play yet.
You mean leading the entire NHL in Even strength scoring pace from the end of 4 nations on?If you want tuse that like of thinking what did Michkov lead his team to?
It's not a legit argument, Wolf had a team in the mix for a long time that had zero business being there the trophy is based on the entire season of play.
Celebrini was "miles ahead"This is simply not true. Wolf had an impactful season. 910 save percentage and 29 wins on a team that had no business competing for a playoff spot.
Very deserving of a Calder 3rd place. Michkov is very deserving of a 4th place finish.
Credit to Michkov for an impressive season. Unfortunately for him there were 2 finalists that were miles ahead of him and another that nosed him out.
You finally got something right!Celebrini was "miles ahead"
LMAO
I KNOIW he did.You actually think Michkov had a better season than Celly? lol
Give Celebrini another 10 games to even the number of games played, he out produces the one dimensional liability know. As Michkov.I KNOIW he did.
Out produced him even strength
Out produced him per 60
Played with lesser linemates
Was anchored by a coach while Celebrini played entirely free
Better PP60
Far better ESP60
More primary points
more goals
The only argument for Celebrini would be "he plays better defense" which is a title that has been given to him, not earned. While he's better defensively, hes not good at it at this point.
Give them both 20 minutes a night even usage, Michkov is putting up at least 10 more goals and 15 more points.
$100 USD in DR is $6,000Demidov is vacationing in the Dominican Republic.
It's confirmed... Demidov > Michkov

Why are you talking about games played? it's irrelevant, Celebrini played more, a lot more.Give Celebrini another 10 games to even the number of games played, he out produces the one dimensional liability know. As Michkov.
There’s no comparison. Celebrini was the superior player. Not worth wasting time discussing…
Michkov did well to finish 4th. I applaud him for that amazing achievement!
This is a Michkov thread, not a Hutson or Demidov threadGive Celebrini another 10 games to even the number of games played, he out produces the one dimensional liability know. As Michkov.

HahahahahaWhy are you talking about games played? it's irrelevant, Celebrini played more, a lot more.
You definitely are wasting your time being wrong, congrats.
LOL you had Michkov top 3 in February.... And somehow dropped him out despite the belowBecause minds can be changed as the season progresses. I has celebrini #1 in the first half. Then Hutson. Had Michkov top 3 by Feb. then in the end, wolf top 3.
if you aren’t adjusting your opinion as the season progresses, you are a biased homer. Clearly you fall into a certain category.
Its pretty funny that you are so butthurt over a meaningless 3rd place position. Like a soccer mom bitter that her boy did not get a participation award.
All that matters is who won the Calder. Who finished runner up or below is pointless.
I see you already dunked on him, i'm dealing with a corpseAgain, you’re making no sense. So by February you were convinced Michkov was a Calder finalist over Wolf; Michkov proceeds to have a lights-out close to his season (29 points in 29 games after 2/1) while Wolf plays his worst in that same span. You post on March 31 that Michkov is your Calder finalist, yet somehow your decision changes to Wolf with only days left in the regular season????
Care to explain that one? Or you want to save that one for later and tell me how a goalie with a losing record over the final 2.5 months of the season was “fantastic” and “carried” the Flames?
I don’t think there is one team in the NHL that would take Michkov over Celibrini right now or in the future.Celebrini did play with men, in the NCAA
Celebrini had more overall playing time than Michkov, games played means nothing
Celebrini had better quality linemates
Celebrini did less during even strength minutes
Try taking the entirety of their seasons and not cherry picking like Michkov does on a daily basis.LOL you had Michkov top 3 in February.... And somehow dropped him out despite the below
Matvei Michkov has 12 goals, 17 assists, 31 points and a plus-minus of -4 in 29 games since February 1, 2025.
Macklin Celebrini has 9 goals, 17 assists, 26 points and a plus-minus of -11 in 28 games since February 1, 2025.
Lane Hutson has 3 goals, 24 assists, 27 points and a plus-minus of +13 in 31 games since February 1, 2025.
Dustin Wolf is 10-8-6 in 24 games with a goals against average of 2.80 and a save percentage of .901 since February 1, 2025.
You have some serious explaining to do bud. Just give it up and admit you're troll farming at this point
There isn’t a team on earth that would take Michkov over Celly.I don’t think there is one team in the NHL that would take Michkov over Celibrini right now or in the future.
This isn’t a knock on Michkov - It’s just that Celibrini’s D+1 season has been a special one and he’s going to be a special player.
Celebrini would have went to the AHL immediately after getting dragged by Caufield if he played for Torts.Hahahahaha
Yeah, number of games don’t count…. Good one.
Celly played more minutes because he was much more reliable offensively and defensively compared to the one dimensional Michkov. Michkov got benched on numerous occasions because of his defensive shortcomings and selfish play.
But keep up the crazy talk!
I will let you guys get back to the overrating of Mic
Toodles…
Probably not, due to age and position.I don’t think there is one team in the NHL that would take Michkov over Celibrini right now or in the future.

I'm pretty sure there is a seperate trophy for that as well. You mean leading the entire NHL in Even strength scoring pace from the end of 4 nations on?
I deserves a participation award.I'm pretty sure there is a seperate trophy for that as well.
I don’t think that’s the case. Celibrini was more impactful through the year.Probably not, due to age and position.
Michkov is for sure the better player right now though.
