RW Matvei Michkov (2023, 7th, PHI) Part 6

??

If he wasn't driving I hope he was in the back seat because that looks like a nasty head collision with the windscreen.

Also, vacations in Dubai, ew. I'm trying really hard to like the kid and then he does this.
There's rumblings of DUI, escorts and legal troubles around paperwork, not sure as it's all in Russian on telegram and the journalist is clearly going for a TMZ angle. It's giving 20 year old Galchenyuk vibes.

Meanwhile, Lane Hutson lives with his mom and spends is weekends at the rink.

Same guy that broke the news said there might be alcohol and prostitutes involved

This is bad look here

There were just two men in the car, Michkov's attorney says, Matvei was a passenger, and his friend drove the car, both were sober. Oh, and according to the attorney, the company that owned the car extorted money from Matvei and took his passport. So they are taking legal action against the company.

Lol of course the attorney is gonna say that. This client might be worth big money to his firm over his career, you better keep him happy.

Well, probably. But it looks like there was something wrong with the company that owned the car too. The attorny says there was something fishy with rental car agreement.

You absolutely cannot rent car in Dubai without a comprehensive insurance if you are 20-year old man with a recent license, and no one asks for your passport, it is illegal. So they went to some fishy guys because no one legit will rent a sports car to young men. Well, young and stupid...

Yeah, the article is half good and half bad. Good because it says Michkov had a good season and is going to be a superstar - hard to argue with this. Bad, because actually nobody gives a f*** for Calder. Attention span of it is about season, maximum two. Ask hockey fans did McDavid win Calder, and 80% of them won't give you correct answer or any answer at all...
If Michkov won the Calder you'd be here praising him for it. Sore loser energy.

He was definitely not winning it so not getting a nomination does not even matter.

Still I think he was the best rookie of all

Hutson older and better team

Wolf older and better team

Celebrini given all the ice time he wanted on a completely garbage team

Looks like Michkov is involved in some accident in Dubai. A Russian reporter is implying there's some drama here, the full story should come out soon enough but it sounds wild. Add it to the mounting evidence of him being a headcase.

Oh no, a kid got into a car accident while enjoying a well deserved vacation, that means he's a headcase!
