Just lurking here, but this made me roll my eyes.

Your argument has been shredded. You seem to be either unable or unwilling to recognize and come to terms with that, and that's just sad.

“Shredded”, but doesn’t articulate how.

Are you debating that MacKinnon has nearly twice as many points, and scores at a rate that renders any deficiencies in his game irrelevant?

Are you debating that MacKinnon plays much tougher minutes than Michkov, meaning that other teams invariably deploy their top defensive players against him and he still scores at the aforementioned rate?

Are you debating that MacKinnon is a center, and has the puck much more than Michkov, against other team’s top defensive players, so a higher rate of turnovers is expected and normal, especially considering he makes up for it by, you know, leading the NHL in scoring?

None of this applies to Michkov, and they aren’t comparable in the least. I know nuance and context are very difficult (maybe impossible) concepts for certain fans to understand, but at least try.

I’m actually very curious what exactly you have a problem with, and if you can even articulate why.

Now, counter-argument; let’s hear it.

Mich is a beauty. Such a gamer. Wants to be "the" guy. Can't wait for when he gets to play meaningful big games. I've watched enough of him this year, to know he is a 100+ point guy. But he needs some help, and they need a center in there that is going to be able to capitalize on the magic that kid brings nearly every shift. Couldn't imagine the assists he would've had if he didn't play half his minutes with absolute stone hand play killers.

I don't understand the tribalism as if we are these kids parents or something , all of them are filthy , good time to be a hockey fan

What three players will finish ahead of Michkov in the Calder race?
 
You'd think with how terrible Michkov is, some Hab fans would be able to get over the fact that their team didn't pick him.

Hutson clearly is the Calder, and deserves it. An incredible rookie campaign, and i'm excited to see what he does next year with a team that should be a bit better as well.

Celebrini? Better than i expected, no doubt about it. Kid is a gamer and i can't wait to see his career blossom as well.

Wolf is a franchise goalie. I'm certain of it. Faltered down the stretch a bit, but did far more than he should have been as a rookie in the NHL

None of this takes away from how good Michkov has been, what he did on that team with that coach, particularly at 5v5.

Hopefully the Flyers trade him while he still has value. It is odd how many Montreal fans are obsessed with this thread, even though he's so terrible!
