7th time this season
Shocked it's been that many, but nevertheless...
7th time this season
He has 6+12=18 points in his last 17 games since the 5 Nations Break ended.
Coincidence or not, he played his by far the best game of the season right after Torts is gone
At this rate, he might just match Michael Ryder’s rookie season. Decent.

Yup not surprised soon as torts gone Michkov had 3 points and coulda had 5. People that don’t watch him or didn’t watch him coming up don’t understand his offensive brilliance. They will now. I wouldn’t be shocked if he puts up 90-100 next year.
It is a lofty bar; Michkov might not even reach it this season either. Toss up.Just hope his rookie season won't be his best NHL season as it happened to Ryder...
I don't think he will jump that much on such a weak team with such an inept Powerplay. Guys like McDavid and Kucherov score 100+ points because they rack up 40-50+ points on the Powerplay every season. Michkov has just 15 PP points this season (2nd behind Konecny who has 16). I think we could see him in the 70-80 range next season but he's not going to be a 100 point player until they sort out the Powerplay, which will require more talent around him and a better coaching staff.
So petty. So desperateAt this rate, he might just match Michael Ryder’s rookie season. Decent.
Idk about all that, but hoping he gets there. It’s gonna come down to the wire.So petty. So desperate
He just had to watch Matvei torch his team so we’ll give him a passSo petty. So desperate
A 23-24 year old versus a 19-20 year oldSo petty. So desperate
You mean a 23 year old vs a 20 year old.A 23-24 year old versus a 19-20 year old
A 93 Point team versus a 70 point team
Playoff team versus lottery team
Apples to apples.
You mean a 23 year old vs a 20 year old.
Also, the 03-04 Habs and this year’s Flyers were/are both middle of the pack teams in terms of offense, so the opportunity for scoring for both players was/is about the same.
However, Michkov would actually need to hit about 73 points to match Ryder’s rookie season, when considering the difference in league-wide scoring environment between the two seasons.
Looks like he won’t make it, actually.
Crushed the D+2 seasons of Draisatl, Hughes, Barkov, MacKinnon and others. It’s easy to cherry pick stats to fit a narrative. You mean a 23 year old vs a 20 year old.

Yet he’s losing the rookie scoring race to a defenseman, and won’t hit the lofty heights that Michael Ryder reached as a rookie.Crushed the D+2 seasons of Draisatl, Hughes, Barkov, MacKinnon and others. It’s easy to cherry pick stats to fit a narrative.
All good, we got Reinbacher! So petty. So desperate
That's all it is. I actually have no problem rooting for Hutson, Reinbacher or Demidov to do well, because i like good hockey players, and i'm not insecure about 19 year olds doing something i wouldn't dream of doing. In fact, i believe all of Hutson, Reinbacher and Demidov are going to be fantastic. Just like they believe that Michkov will be great. If they actually thought he was a plug, there would be less of an obsession over them.a bit of vitriol is understandable. the habs are in the playoff race and the player they rejected skewerd them yesterday. ouch.
When his conditioning is ok, he's a PPG player already. In his first 27 games he scored 27 points. And he's 18 points in 17 games after the 4 Nations break. So it's 45 points in 44 games.
He's just 9 points in other 28 games...
