Someone gave him the advice to shoot more because that's how you get points, so he has simply been shooting first rather than look for the pass. The hunger to succeed is there."

A player who shoots first.

Are Liiga goalies that bad or is his shot that good? Will he be able to beat NHL goalies clean from that spot on the PP?

He’s not shooting that high of a percentage either, 13.3%. He only averages 14:37 of ice time per game, but has taken two or more shots 22 games in a row. He had 11 shots today.

Idk tbh, the Liiga definetaly has dropped in quality from what it used to be. But i think his shot is still very good. That said, i think it's very hard to predict, it comes down to see when he comes to the NHL.

Got to take account of Liiga tracking every single shot attempt as a shot in their statistics. Don't know why..

I didn’t know that. That definitely makes it seem not as good, but he’s still top ten in the league in total shots with low ice time. I think the league leading shots category is usually a good indicator of goal scoring ability. Most of the best goal scorers take the most shots.

Those are corsi. I mean, I even said it.

18 goals, 55 shots that were saved. 73 shots on goal. 18/73 then is 24.66%

Doesn’t that make it 55-18= 37%?

If you score 50 goals on 10o shots, it’s 50%.

Two goals already today with 3rd period on the way. Honestly I didn't expect this type of production from Pajuniemi, I didn't even remember his name prior to this season.
