He only had 41p in 38gp last year (including 10p in 15 playoff games). That doesn't strike me as a guy who is too good for junior.

I been following him and Liam Greentree closely throughout their season and every game they respectfully play and both have been amazing in their own right especially Greentree who is on an absolute tear equivalent to some of the greats currently in the NHL to come out of the CHL leagues . Both will be great players sooner rather than later for my Kings and after seeing how Laffy is doing this year in the NHL for us i am super excited for what the future brings !

we are around-ish, but we usually keep to our board since we have about 5 posters who keep close tabs/viewings on all our guys, and because often when we share the tidbits we get shouted down by 'more knowledgable' fanbases.

Ziemmer is on a total heater and we love to see it.

To my understanding any OHL team has the ability to carry three 20-year-old overage players at the start of each season. He is 19 and soon to be 20.

Beside that, its anyhow a moot point for somebody who was born in December. You took him more seriously when he was born two weeks later ?

Don't get so defensive about it! The fact is that this is his 5th(!) season in junior hockey and he should be dominating. Time will tell if he has an NHL career ahead of him but OA players routinely put up huge numbers. Just stating facts.

I will tell why.

You should pay more attention to NHL draft eligibility and not how many seasons someone is playing in a specific league. That says more about him than anything else.

Routinely ANY D+2 draftee is putting up better/huge numbers but somehow you want to single out the draftpicks that were born between October and the end of December (the OA players in your book) as players who do better than anyone else.

If you had said you take statistics for any D+2 player with a grain of salt, I had not responded.

Any player born between 9/15 and 12/31 will be an OA in his D+2 year. The fact that he could play in the AHL or WHL this year should be a giveaway that he is an OA. Not sure what else to tell you.

Something like; that you are not taking any stat from any junior player seriously, two years after being drafted.

That would have been enough.

I love this kids game, he really stuck out to me when I saw him in person at kings training. Just an absolute bull in the corner with a really nice hard shot. If I were to compare him to a current pro it'd probably be Barbashev they're both kind of built like vending machines lol.
