If seriously, he is a quite good player, speed with good acceleration, can hit. Ideal for bottom 6 and some young guys can play Cleveland what is better for them. I like this sign. But it can mean Boone would not be able to play long time.

Hmmm.. Labanc had great finishing tools back in the day. The ideal cheap guy to put next to a star playmaker. He was one of the worst players in the league the last couple years. Maybe his camp is a sign he's turned it around. Devils and Devils fans wanted to sign him which is a great sign.

But I look at our lineup and we have some guys who can finish. It's speed and getting out of our zone into the other that I am very concerned about. I said this before JVR was signed too, we have finishers, it's more about getting in to position where finishing is even an option.

Wow do we ever have a lot of forwards who can't defend. I don't envy Evason's job right now.

At least he put in a solid effort! Oh wait...

Not gonna judge a player either way based on couple clips but might as well given Nylander a chance, at least he played well in the NHL last season for Columbus and you could've signed him on a two-way contract. I'm not sure I see the point of this signing. Hope I'm wrong.

Alex Nylander is only signed on an AHL deal - can any NHL team sign him right now? I don't think he goes through waivers because he isn't on an NHL deal.

Not my favorite player type but he was much much better than I expect to get from Labanc. Or JVR. Or half our forwards.
