16 years old 6'3 220lbs, 21pts in 41 games as a rookie.

Never heard of him before I saw him on hockeyDB while looking at Anthony Mantha's stats today.

Has anyone seen him play? Future potential?

He's a powerful winger that likes to score goals. Good speed, very hard shot and a nose for the net. Will go to the dirty areas. Has very good poise for a big guy.

Limited showing though. Maybe saw him three times this season, but he's looked good. If progression continues, could be a 1st rounder.

Yeah he is a powerful guy that have also skills. At the U17, he doesn't put up points but was playing very well tough. In the Q, he is more quiet but it's normal for a 16 years old. Will be a major piece next year already. Good mix of size and talent.

Power forward type with very good speed and skills. Plays physical too. Need to improve consistency and hockey IQ ain't the best. Definitely a potential first rounder in 2016.

Not related to Frederic.

Seems a little early to be making this topic, no?

2016 is a little bit far yes, but the guy is a late 1997 born player, so the same age has Barzal, McDavid, Roy, etc... 16 years old is a good age to start talking about a player IMO.

Maybe but I don't think I've ever seen a guy with this type of size at his age. At the start of the year he was still 15 and 220lb.

Ekblad was considered a superior physical specimen at 15 and wasn't close to this size.

3g and 2a last night including the OT winner. Puts him at 11g, 9a and +3 through 20 games on a weaker Val-D'or team so far. Anyone have any live viewings?

Still blows me away that a 16 year old can be that big. How big is this kid gonna be in a year? Can he skate for a kid his size?
