Gourde out, new man inYani Gourde out, Jani Nyam in
I'm so out of touch with the Finnish league and prospects these days, had no idea this guy even existed. Seems to score goals where ever he goes.
He is leading the AHL in scoring for rookies as well. I think the Kraken fanbase being small is probably why not more of us talk about him. One of the questions around him was speed but I think he has average skating. You are not alone!
But as he scored 26 goals as a 19 year old in Liiga last season - the most by any U20 player in like 40 years - he for sure should have come with a lot of hype!
Kemell has seemed like a slouch in every NHL pre-season, like he doesn't even want to be there, so I'll go with Nyman for now. Also Kemell's wildly inconsistent in the AHL.Nyman or Kemell going forward?
Didn't make Wheeler's top 100.The lack of hype on this guy has been weird.
Seattle prospect so not many people watching himThe lack of hype on this guy has been weird.
Nyman or Kemell going forward?
How you would compare Jani Nyman to other Finnish players in NHL?From what I've seen, he can play in the NHL and might likely have a long career if he stays healthy. But I think they should put him on a line with Shane Wright.
Closer to Laine. Sniper with average skating. Laines skating has improved but it’s certainly not a strength. Same with Nyman. How you would compare Jani Nyman to other Finnish players in NHL?
Is Jani Nyman more Patrik Laine type player or Mikko Rantanen type player?
Is "Newman" how his name should be pronounced?
