Kitchener has one of the top coaches in the CHL with an excellent system (Ahokas is a future NHL coach for sure) and he’s playing with more talented players. Combine that with the fact the OHL is an offense-focused league, it’s not surprising. Obviously a great development move on Pridham’s part by moving.

isn't Bob McKenzie's son the GM?

BCHL has been slightly higher scoring league so far this year but West Kelowna is (by far) the lowest scoring team in the BCHL.

Kitchener is actually only middle of the road in terms of OHL scoring.

As has been said before, as opposed to at every other position, the CHL does not necessarily have a distinct advantage in terms of goaltending over the USHL/BCHL.

What we’re seeing is the result of defected BCHL/USHL players playing with far more talented positional players in the CHL but against similar (or perhaps, in some cases, even a step below) goaltending.

As an aside, I would like the CHL to approve an additional Overage roster slot specifically for goaltenders. I think that would go a long way in terms of better challenging the talent throughout the CHL.

Good for Jack though! He’s been playing great on an exceptionally talented team in Kitchener.
Hopefully Mr. Valentini has been paying attention and makes a triumphant return to Ontario and joins the Rangers in short order.
