Watching the game, I failed to see the Canadian heart and pride, to represent their country. They looked more like emotionless robots. Russian players put everything on a line, wearing the heart on their sleeve. Great to see, that Ovechking was pointing at the Russian coat of arms on his chest, after scoring a goal. It is great for Russia, that young kids are proud to be Russians and remember our past as the continuation of Christian Roman Empire. The Russian double-headed eagle was adopted by Emperor Constantine for newly Christianized Roman Empire, for some reason nick-named Byzantium by some drunken German Historian in 18 century. BTW, the one-headed eagle as in case with USA, Germany and other western countries stand for pagan symbol of the pre-Christian Roman Empire. Go figure. It is time for Russia to be on top of the world. Glory to Russia.

It's funny how a hockey tournament can be used to determine which people are superior to another... I guess it's better than war.

No.

The ones with the most pride and heart are the Teenage Ninja Turtles!

My apologies to Canadians for this poster.. Crazy people are not limited to drunk German historians...

And you, Senator, I am very happy about how our guys played, but take this imperial-religious psychotic babble elsewhere!! You're embarassing all things Russian...

I am sure all that Ovy could think of after scoring that goal was "our past as the continuation of Christian Roman Empire". :help:

:biglaugh: You never fail to crack me up.

I loved it when after Ovechkin scored and he was sitting on the bench he grabed and pointed to the russian crest on his jersey!

No worries. That guy has proven his stupidity on numerous occasions. This is simply one more shot at convincing us that he needs to be in a padded cell :biglaugh:
