What the hell, I swear it was you who posted a thread saying Russia is the weakest out of the Big 6 a few months ago. Now you are saying the exact opposite. :huh:

The strongest team will be Canada and it's not even close.
USA can match the depth, Sweden the defense and Russia the superstar players, but that's it.
Also, why do you create so many Russia-themed threads. :laugh:

The Russian team will be such a superstar like Panarin, Kucherov, Tarasenko, Malkin, Kuznetsov,Radulov and many others)

Russia believes? Is this something you've come up with on your own or is the Russian media feeding you a pack of lies? because they are prone to bouts of delusional grandeur.

Even if Russia had better forwards (which they don't, they have worse depth), their defense is dreadful and goaltending doesn't seem like a real strenght either.

and don't forget subpar coaching. And in a group with Finland and Sweden, I'm not convinced that Russia even makes it out of the group to play a 1/2 final game.

Russia has the Best top end Forwards and Goaltending and might be the Strongest team for 2016 but they HAVE to play up to their potential.

They haven't done that since '98 Olympics (while missing half a team).

If they play their Best, they can be the best.

Russia's top end Goaltending trio of Varlamov, Bobrovsky, Vasilevskiy is probable the best in the tourney (Canada is the Best if you go by duo- Holtby + Price).

Vasilevskiy is projected to win multiple Vezina's, could already be a number #1 goalie in the NHL on another team at 21 years old only.

Probable gonna be the number #1 goalie for Russia heading into the 2018 & 2022 Olympics. He is the most stable of the Russian goalies also.

USA (Quick, Schneider, Bishop)

Easily better than Varlamov, Bobrovski, Vasilevsky...

And even with bad season... Rask, Rinne, + someone (Lehtonen / Niemi / Raanta) could be easily better trio of goalies.

Sweden has still Lundqvist.
Czech republic has Mrazek, Neuvirth.

Russia really does not have any big advantage in goaltending right now.

I expect Canada will just go through and systematically pick everyone apart like they did at the Olympics. Boring and effective but we won't care.

That's your opinion but Vasilevsky is projected to be the best goalie since Hasek - only 21yo
