Statistically, it's Jagr.

But the fact that Jagr was a "mere" PPG until Lemieux arrived kinda muddies the waters.

It's worth noting that Lemieux only has the higher PPG that season due to Jagr's first half of the season without him. But during their time together Jagr outproduced him.

That being said, would Jagr have been as motivated or productive without Lemieux in the 2nd half of the season? For that reason there will always be an asterisk to this season.

Jagr was certainly better, but I don’t know if I can give it to him for a 3/4 season. Kane’s VsX numbers through 63 games were pretty similar
