My wife is from Bathurst, and so I have always had a soft spot for le Titan. Every time a franchise in any sport has to move, some loyal fans get their hearts broken. We have been to games there when visiting and bought a bunch of merchandise, but unfortunately some visiting ex-pats and their families aren't going to support a team long term. You have a city of 12,000 people with an aging population, and despite their best attempts to make it a "regional" team it is really tough to ask people to drive an hour each way in winter weather to see a junior hockey game. Glad le Titan won a Memorial Cup before they had to leave...
