I'd love to think players have brains and actually want to give their team and themselves the best shot at a cup. But for sure, never know what each individual is thinking and how much they can or care beyond their own situation. Can't imagine conversations weren't had between Tampa management and Kuch, and Vegas with Stone to all be in on the LTIR scam and giving their team the best shot to win.

Well you heard it here first, it's not IF Skinner costs us another cup this year it's rather WHEN. Round 1 round 2 or round 3. We won't make it out of the west this year with skinners inconsistency. He has been alot worse this year IMO then last year...

Fully support this idea. Also would ensure that the NHL finally closes this loophole, because of the rage it would cause seeing the Oilers exploit it, and we ruin it for everyone else and never have to worry about other teams LTIR scamming again.

It would be extremely stupid of the Oilers to not utilize Kane's cap space just to allow the option for Kane to play a few meaningless regular season games before the playoffs.
