I noticed something very very funny today, the Flames are 1 point behind Kings for 3rd in the Pacific.
I expect the Nucks to head in the wrong direction shortly lol. They'll probably flip Pettersson and O'Connor at the deadline.

Obviously a terrible situation for Vancouver however they have improved a bit defensively. Rutherford still has till the deadline to try to find a guy that can at least play quality 2C.

If I was a Canucks fan I wouldn’t want to trade a mid round pick for MP.
Maybe MP is better than I think he is to be fair. Hard to evaluate the Penguins when they are pretty much cooked at this point. That dcore in general is pretty terrible. But I guess when you look at his stats compared to others on the team, they look favourable.
I don’t think MP is what the Oilers needed regardless.

Its amusing how Vancouver fans are so eager to get rid of Heinen. His stat line is pretty much the same to O’Connor. Sure the contract is better but it’s not like the contracts are crippling especially after moving Miller.
