He's been scratched 5 times in the last 10 games largely losing icetime to Kapanen and then you have to factor in E. Kane coming back in the line-up plus whomever we add at the deadline.
Sacrificing money to win and be part of something bigger than yourself is one thing, sacrificing your next big contract to be a 14th forward who has no real role on the team is another.

Believe it or not, a fresh Jeff Skinner could have helped us in game 7 of the finals. Injuries and guys getting banged up do happen.
