Rumor: Rumors & Proposals Thread | With Klingberg in the Mix Who Are Our 7D After the Deadline?

We are 3rd in the NHL. We have been winning more than losing. I personally think you are just trolling and want attention for something that isn't actually an issue. It's a personal agenda for you Everytime I read your posts, and quite frankly, 95% of us are tired of it. I am convinced, this is either GreatKeith, or a relative of his and I'm tired of reading this. Time for to add you to the 400+ I blocked on this site.

-Throws out a bunch of insults
-Accuses others of trolling

Classic. I’ll just continue to post stats and facts about how underwhelming a hire Bowman has been, and if you or others want to ignore them, that’s cool but it doesn’t make them any less accurate. If you find yourself blocking out others with a differing viewpoint so often- 400 times by your own admission- you may want to rethink who the problem is.

He's helped the Oil get 3 points of the last 6. He also had a MASSIVE backcheck last game bailing out Bouchard stopping a 2 on 1.

Unless Knobby has a personal problem w/ him, his stock should be rising

I would honestly switch him and Arvy right now
Knob has obvious biases when it comes to what he wants on the team and how he deploys guys.

He already openly stated he wants more speed on the team and based on who he elevates and who he scratches, he highly values guys who are defensively responsible and guys who can win puck battles.

Skinner just so happens to be that culmination of too slow, too defensively leaky, and doesn't win enough puck battles (in the aggregate) and while many other coaches saw the offensive upside being worth the downside, it just seems like Knob isn't overly concerned with our offensive output and more strongly prioritizes getting our goals against down.

Our 2nd line could use some shaking up, but Skinner holding down a spot in the top 6 for even a period is a rarity under Knob.

Canucks traded the wrong guy if they’re serious about winning. Can’t wait to see Hughes sign in Jersey in 2 more years.
You can't keep the guy in his 30s either. He'd be 35 by the time they're back in the conversation.

They just got a whole lot worse looking at that return.

Bowman is repeatedly failing to make impactful adds while obsessing over reclamation projects on the fringes of the roster. Whether this is because the GM fraternity wants nothing to do with him after certain events or because he lacks the wherewithal, we are once again watching a has-been get out maneuvered by much better executives. Katz really needs to ask himself why he keeps getting bamboozled like this, it’s such a bad look.

In all honesty it's Jeff Jackson's moves last summer that have largely not paid dividends. Bowman hasn't done enough one way or another, Kapanen and Podkolzin were OK adds for free, he had a pre-existing relationship with Brandon Saad but I suspect the way Knoblaugh has treated Jeff Skinner and the fact that Arvidsson is not doing well is poisoning the well on the whole "come play in Edmonton! Your numbers will skyrocket with Draisaitl and McDavid!" appeal to wingers at least.

Knob probably has some share of blame on that front.

That return seems pretty fair for a lazy, one dimensional scorer who is a known locker room cancer and is signed to the age of 37 on a large contract.

We are fortunate that all our core guys actually A) Don't behave like children B) Actually like each other a lot C) Aren't Americans who are looking to bolt the first chance they get after seeing all the drama in Calgary and Vancouver the last couple of years. Shit, even Evander Kane has been nothing but a pro since getting here.

If only we could find a GM who isn't a turd or a slow motion sloth.
