$5M isn't too shabby for 4RHD.I would, but that's a tough fit
More the term than the dollar that still scares me.$5M isn't too shabby for 4RHD.
2 more years yeh. If he still had game and Dubas got real desperate and let him go for cheap though...More the term than the dollar that still scares me.

Big thing with Karlsson is he’s never really successfully co existed with another offensive D man. He exploded in San Jose after Burns left and then went right back to the same shite after joining Letang and the Pens.2 more years yeh. Paired with a 2 way guy in Nurse and would sit behind Bouch in the depth chart. Lowered minutes and responsibility to his usual Top Pairing Reputation. I wonder if that could work.Big thing with Karlsson is he’s never really successfully co existed with another offensive D man. He always looks like a player against us. Always surprised when Habs fans hate on him. Too bad he's not a righty.Seems like Habs Nation are all in on trading Matheson today. Make the call Stan.
Matheson has very little Hockey IQ, the prototypical tools but not much of a toolbox guy.He always looks like a player against us. Always surprised when Habs fans hate on him. Too bad he's not a righty.

With that said, in a 2nd pairing role as opposed to the #1 role he plays now he might very well thrive but I don't think Nurse is the guy you want to pair with him even though Nurse has had a nice bounceback season this year.
has this been rumored or something? If this team brings in Erik Karlsson, I will join the Stan Bowman can f*** off bandwagon right after.
This would be the stupidest add they could even consider. Anyone that has watched him play the past 2 years can see that he isn’t what ails the Oilers. Can’t play defence to save his soul (he also doesn’t play goal). He averages 45 points a season since he left Ottawa 8 years ago and that’s including his 101 point supernova season in San Jose. He deterioration the past two years is evident.
My gawd, I’m wasting good electricity even typing this out. WTF.
Sometimes ur out in left field...but on this you are very correct. We need a somewhat two way but slightly more defensive D. Not a Super Barrie. If this team brings in Erik Karlsson, I will join the Stan Bowman can f*** off bandwagon right after.

I would not consider it, I have never seen a d-man with a bigger gap in between their offensive ability and their defensive ability, his defensive give a shit is just not where it needs to be to fit on a team with SC aspirations.EK65 @ 50%

Not sure what you mean or imply by this, but thanks for chiming in with your two cents … I think. Or not.Sometimes ur out in left field...but on this you are very correct. We need a somewhat two way but slightly more defensive D. Not a Super Barrie.
Couldn't have been pointed as you have been in ur post.
Your electricity is appreciated lol.
Was mentioned a few posts ahead of this. Not as a rumour, just a thought.has this been rumored or something?
HAha sensitive are you? We are all out in left field occaisionally. An odd criticism here and there is a good thing. Not sure what you mean or imply by this, but thanks for chiming in with your two cents … I think. Or not.

I feel Knob's system can reign him in. I mean Emberson and Stetcher and Dermott can survive and play mistake free most often then not. EK65 should be able to if he buys in.I would not consider it, I have never seen a d-man with a bigger gap in between their offensive ability and their defensive ability, his defensive give a shit is just not where it needs to be to fit on a team with SC aspirations.
