You often post rumour junk and spend time for apologizing for it. Often the improbable rumour is deleted from an unreliable social media feed. Perpetuating misinformation.

The source you posted is actually a credible one and citing a legitimate insider. Your comment about Waddell is strange. I often appreciate your posts when you take time to post qualified, reasonable sourced rumours. But not posting impulsive spam stuff.
Well im sorry those posts turned into spam. I didn’t know they annoyed you so much. I try to do the best I can

Context matters. Savoie is second on the team for points. What that's saying is that the team as a whole is lacking in production.

If Savoie had 10 points and was sitting like 10th on the team, I would be like, oh, that's not great.
I think Savoie’s doing the best he can with what he has to work with. Philp’s game has not been as consistent. Honestly, I think that should’ve been expected. He didn’t play hockey last year so going through a slump was going to happen

I think it’s pretty safe to assume he wants to experience playoff hockey at this point. He’s made a lot of money.

I don't know if watching from the press box is what he probably has in mind. Short of injury or his play improving drastically, I don't see how he makes it into the Top 6 when Kane gets back, and you certainly aren't playing him in the bottom 6 in the playoffs.

Lots of things could change for sure, and I'm hopeful that his play turns around such that he is playing a role in the Top 6 by the deadline, but at the same time a left side that has RNH, Kane, and potentially Podkolzin (he's above him in the pecking order now) on it he isn't getting in the lineup. He's not taking Janmark out of the lineup, and Pod can play a bottom 6 role should RNH and Kane be in the Top 6. Skinner can't.

I like how they're framing "This year, he’d been scratched in favor of 37-year-old Jack Johnson, Jake Christiansen and waiver claim Dante Fabbro, and the Blue Jackets assigned Jiricek to the AHL last week." as him being mishandled.

Two guys playing the left side and a rightie that has vastly outplayed him.

Sports "journalism".
What in the world did jiricek do to you? Literally act like he pissed in your corn flakes. I'm sure you'll resort to some skating diagram.

The Guy has 10 points in 17 games at 20. His first "official" pro season, and your still going to call him out. cmon man. When Savoie is sitting at nearly PPG at the 40 game mark, what's going to be your call out then ? He is going to be good. Put money on it.
I am not calling him out at all. I am just stating facts.
Why would you think otherwise?
If he is a point per game player by the end of the season I would be extremely happy with that.

Im am more than willing to wait and see with Savoie but I am just saying that he is best served by staying in the AHL this season.

I hope Kane is putting in the work during his time off. I know he was injured and all, but he hurt us immensely in the first couple Florida games after having a mostly ineffective playoffs. At 5M per, we can't afford a shitty Kane.
True. We already have a shitty RNH at 5 mill or 5.5. Can't have 2 of em. Even Hyman needs to step it up

He will score 20+ and not ever leave the lineup. That’s my prediction.

It isn't that serious haha. I just don't see the hype. He's their Yak/Pulju/Reinhart, but the media is running with the complete opposite narrative they did with them.

Just noticed that Bako has the worst PP in the entire AHL... 8.3%.. so they are suffering from some offensive ineptness along with the big club this season.

As to whether Savoie should get a look on the Oilers... normally I might say "not yet"... but this is a 1st round pick who turns 21 in a little over a month. He wouldn't be ruined by getting some NHL games... especially on a team that's starving for some offense as the Oilers depth forwards rarely can supply that.

If Philp got a 3 game cup of coffee after not playing hockey for a year... Savioe can get a couple games at least as well.

Derek Ryan is basically a placeholder on the roster at this stage... honestly he's probably not a NHL player any longer... certainly not a 82 game NHL player... so sitting Ryan for a few games and subbing in players like Savoie/Philp/Caggiula makes a lot of sense.

I mean this is a team this year that's given looks to Janmark/Perry/Podz in the top 6 so they are definitely starving for some offensive help... even if it's only a few games. Sometimes that cup of coffee to a hungry young motivated player is a spark that helps both the team and the prospect as well.
