Management need to be bold and put Rodrigue in for a few games. I wonder how Binnington and Dustin Wolf actually earned a starting job. Flames had Vladar, prior to that Markstrom. Then they cleaned house and somehow Wolf had a horseshoe up his ass. The flames fans must be stoked to have the goalie of the future come out of nowhere while he continue our musical chairs which all began after the departure of Roloson. We had Dubnyk and fans ran him out.

Lets trade Rodrigue before they put him in. Lets trade him with another asset and get a top AHL goalie...one that projects to be something we can use.

I don't like what I see of Jiricek in highlights, maybe I'll watch a CBJ game and see if I like him more. But I like the idea of getting a former top 10 pick to finally fill the hole we've had for years and to steal a developing prospect.

In general, I don't like players that won't take AHL time seriously as a development step. So if we don't get him, whatever.

I think it's a combination of them drafting a guy who needed a huge improvement in skating that hasn't happened and him/his agent publicly calling for ice time when he clearly isn't ready.

They'd be smart to sell high right now, IMO.

There's rumors also that Colorado is looking for a goalie. They've already tried 4 goalies this year too. Our team is content to just let Skinner figure it out. I highly doubt the team will get another goalie

I hope we go all in on an off the radar solution. Similar to what we found in Ekholm. Those guys aren't it, we'd be settling.

I really don't think we lost much with Ceci either. I think Knob's system can keep afloat alot of mid-tier defenceman. To really make an impact on this roster we need someone better, someone that has the talent to bring offence too. I'm skewed towards the puck movement end of the spectrum for whoever we get.
