2nd or 3rd rounder. What asset are you shipping out with him?

Works for me, I'd rather get rid of Arvidsson than Kane.A deal for Gibson would probably be like
Gibson @ retention
Dumoulin @ retention
for
EDM 1st 2026
STL 2nd
Arvidsson or Kane
That type of thing. As a seller you know you have to take some salary back, it's how trades in a cap league (NHL, NBA, whatever) end up working.
Super short sample size. All the years before and after say differently. Not here he didn't. It is fair to ask if paying significantly more for Trent Frederic, who will probably bolt as soon as the season is over is worth it.
Call Buffalo.
?? What do you mean? Arvidsson, Kapanen, Janmark, etc. can all be sent out, you could even move Nuge if you really wanted to shake things up.Here's our winger. Do we have any cap casualties left?
I was just joking about the cap casualties. I don't think we have the pieces to get someone like Peterka unless Buffalo was drunk that day.?? What do you mean? Arvidsson, Kapanen, Janmark, etc. can all be sent out, you could even move Nuge if you really wanted to shake things up.
I'm saying Buffalo has players that could help the Oilers and they definitely sellers.
If he's available, you get that player. As far as casualties. That's the easy part. Waive Kapi for starters! Here's our winger. Do we have any cap casualties left?
lol kk, I was surprised his name was out there as well, I would REALLY like to add him and have him play with Draisaitl for obvious reasons.I was just joking about the cap casualties. I don't think we have the pieces to get someone like Peterka unless Buffalo was drunk that day.
Gotta think Buffalo is looking for a big time player if Peterka is available or he requested a trade. He makes so little so that's such an attractive piece to any team.lol kk, I was surprised his name was out there as well, I would REALLY like to add him and have him play with Draisaitl for obvious reasons.
He is due a raise this offseason, so that might be part of it.Gotta think Buffalo is looking for a big time player if Peterka is available or he requested a trade. He makes so little so that's such an attractive piece to any team.
Imagine Rakell, Peterka and Vejmelka in one deadline lolHe is due a raise this offseason, so that might be part of it.
Not getting any goalie = an easy F grade for Bowman if it happens. Can’t go for a deep run in the playoffs for the Stanley cup with our two current Swiss cheese sievesImagine Rakell, Peterka and Vejmelka in one deadline lol
Such a dramatic positive shift forward.Imagine Rakell, Peterka and Vejmelka in one deadline lol
Call Buffalo.
Yes. Bowman said it as wellDid seravalli say that we will find out what Kane is going to do March 1st? I thought I saw someone posted it but I cannot find it.
I've been pimping C-Bus as a third party broker since early season looking specifically at them as a vehicle to enable a Karlsson deal. So I agree with what you have posted. However Pittsburg is not going to burn a 1st round pick to flush Karlsson. It would be an unbearable cost for Dougie Howser GM who already got cooked giving up a first to acquire Karlsson and adding on to his contract bungle with Jarry. Penguins will need pick(s) and/or a prospect. There shouldn't be an issue getting brokers this year with the cap jumping next year (for retentions longer than a year). It helps teams get to the floor. Ek65 for example. A poster here, forgive me I can remember who, posted the idea of the Pens using Columbus as a broker to retain 50% of EK65 to move him to Edmonton. Actual dollars are 3.9, and 3.1. 5M added to their cap. Pens shed salary like they wanted to. Pens should get a shitty return since they are dumping salary- Columbus can get a 2nd from Edmonton for the asset and a 1st from Pittsburgh for taking on their cap dump.
Call Buffalo.
lol, Doogie Howser...I used to love that show!I've been pimping C-Bus as a third party broker since early season looking specifically at them as a vehicle to enable a Karlsson deal. Oilers aren't interested unless he is on waivers...just how Boman rolls...waivers or bustWow, Peterka would be a great pickup. Fellow German who can slot in on Draisaitl’s wing. Has a great shot as well.
Well the good news is, that’s tomorrowCALL THEM NOW. He could be our Holloway replacement
Yes. Bowman said it as well
Probably asking them to scrub his toilets. What a shitty owner.Dreger saying Katz runs hot and calls Bowman and Jackson 20 times a day.
He’s too young. Here's our winger. Do we have any cap casualties left?
