Because the goaltending is so bad this season, it’s honestly hard to evaluate how good the team is.

Depends. If they’re trying to get what we desperately need that’s a good sign. But what’s the hold up? Do the Ducks not want to part with Gibson, does he not want to go? Are we not paying what they’re asking for?

Skinner and a 1st for Gibson. It needs to happen now. This year is reminiscent of 05/06, where the team was near the top of the league in nearly every measurable way, but our awful goalies cost us so many games that we had to struggle to get in. Imagine if we had even competent goaltending that we could rely on. If we go into the playoffs with questions in net again, we aren't going to win.
Bowman said he's using the next few games to evaluate. So i'm assuming that's why

We have a freaking bottom 12. Podkolzin isn't really performing like a top 6 player this year either so that's another one. How many players down there do you need. This is not the problem on the team.

I know Podkolzin plays with Drai, but he's also a bottom 6 and you can make the case Arvy and Nuge are flirting with 3rd line.

Agreed, was hoping Pod would find more scoring touch, but he's not pissing a drop with Draisaitl, he is effectively a bottom 6 player (another one).
