That personality is a big part of the reason.
He's willing to throw every rumour and story he hears onto social media where other media members would wait for a more trusted source or verification. He generates a lot of discussion, but as far as "insiders" go his reliability is pretty low. Really hoping that's the case this time.

It’s not much much different than what we did for Drai. We have Drai 8 mil when it was absurd and it worked out for us very well. Drai hadn’t shown much at the point either

I'm sad... but at the same time not sad at that price.
I was hoping we offered him 4 x $1.5M... it would have been a competitive offer. One injury away right and $6M is greater than $4M, especially when spread over 4 tax years rather than 2.
Anyway, good for him... I hope he does well (and is only exposed when we play them)
