I don't mind the sentiment, but if Rodrigue continues to develop well I'm not sure they can get him to the AHL in the second year. Might be enough for a rebuilding team to use the roster spot despite being unproven.

Feel pretty safe about him clearing this year though.

One of the problems with having RnH as the 3C is that after a PP, which line do you play? The first unit PP takes up the majority of the 2 minutes. The PP unit would have the 1/2/3C.

Tall 6'5 220 pound dman. Can move the puck, I THINK he does some PK work too, and was reliable on Arizona. He's replacing Vinny Desharnais. Too bad he priced himself out.

That was my thought as well. Skinner in means we don’t necessarily need a 3C. Nuge can shift back to center and we’d have 3 lines seriously good lines. Something like

Hyman - McDavid - Brown
Kane - Draisaitl - Arvidsson
Holloway - Nuge - Skinner
