At this point all that we can do is hope that Stu goes Autonomous Ultra Instinct in the playoffs instead of automatic sub 0.900.
From watching highlights of his, he is an elusive skater and can create separation and space for himself in the O zone. He also has a hammer of a shot and a good stick defensively. The problem is that because we didn't upgrade on G he will need to be Ekholm defensively and Bouchard offensively to help offset the goaltending.I think Walman will have a much more positive impact than we realize now. I'm hoping that will push things in a positive direction.
I mean it's almost like we should have a goalie coach for that kind of thing! They (Oilers) need to find a goaltending consultant right now. Stu is going to have a collapse in the playoffs. We know this is going to happen. They need to hire someone now to help
Have faith in our goalie!!!!They (Oilers) need to find a goaltending consultant right now. Stu is going to have a collapse in the playoffs. We know this is going to happen. They need to hire someone now to help
Drai would stink eye him for sure hahaI could do without the dancing, but at the end of the day showing some emotion isn't a bad thing. Lighten the room up a bit.
@SoundwaveAnd it took what? A historic performance from McDavid to get that far. Looking at him this year I don't think he has it in his tank to do that again. Think he needs a full summer off to relax and train properly.
I know people think that kinda stuff doesn’t matter but at the end of the day they’re still playing a game, and I think it’s fair to say that they might be taking it a little too serious this year. All of Holloway, Foegele, McLeod and Desharnais were big “vibe guys” and their replacements are seemingly big business first types. Seems like all three of the guys they brought in might be able to bring that kind of energy to lighten the mood.I could do without the dancing, but at the end of the day showing some emotion isn't a bad thing. Lighten the room up a bit.
@LTIRIf you say so. I'm sure you have good stats to back this up.
Seems like a 19 to 20 min per night shutdown dman who plays top PK minutes.
Oilers defensive coverage could certainly use some shutting down.
Don't know anything about Walman so not going to say much.. Hopefully we scouted him recently and did not go with scouting reports when he was putting up big numbers
We have 2 right nowat least we'll have a goalie for next season.. right?
