Is the point of Gudas to bump down Desharnais? Because he isn't better than Ceci or Bouchard. He brings a different element, sure, but 1rd is the team's main weakness right now. Ceci can at least handle top 4 minutes. Gudas never has at any point in his career.

I think the point would be to send Broberg to the AHL and run
Nurse - Ceci
Ekholm - Bouchard
Kulak - Gudas
Desharnais

Brobergs game has been slowing down lately so it might not hurt send him to the AHL to get some confidence back and be depth for the playoffs.

Konovalov likely asked to be released. regardless, I think that ship has sailed. He's a UFA and can go anywhere he wants
