He will. Hopefully for us. Hart too.Who's Formenton? The guy that's never playing professional hockey again?

That means less than nothing lolIt's a one game sample size but boser put up 4 goals playing with mcdavid in the all star game.
And slow.Issue with Boeser is he is another one of those forwards who mostly cheats for offence and is completely lost in his own zone. That’s a lot of money to spend on a guy Knoblauch will treat like Skinner. .
Yeah for the kind of player he's supposed to develop into, I disagree, he can learn the defensive play and the speed in a "safer spot" plus with the way this team rolls it's forwards, it's not like he's only get 5-7 minutes a game.Okay but playing a 19 year old 50-60 games and mostly 4th line time is not a good development path for a player in the slightest. It’s also an incredible waste of his ELC. This team needs prospects stepping in NHL ready, not guys who will need to learn everything about a pro player and shaking their confidence.
Four years removed from being a tweener forward on a rebuilding Sens team. Highly doubt teams are bending over backwards handing that guy a role, even without the rape accusations. He will. Hopefully for us. Hart too.
Formenton would’ve been our fourth highest scoring forward this year comparing his last year in the NHL.Four years removed from being a tweeter forward on a rebuilding Sens team. Highly doubt teams are bending over backwards handing that guy a role, even without the rape accusations.
Hart might be an option down the road considering he'd an established name. But all of these guys are going to have to do a number on their image before a team bites the bullet on any of them. They're also several years removed from game action.
I think they're all still blacklisted, even it's thrown out though. No interest in discussing it either.
I also hope we get on guys who haven’t played hockey in a while with suspect character. He will. Hopefully for us. Hart too.
This sort of thing has happened in hockey before. by mid 70's the Broadstreet Bullies had pretty much ruined hockey. it became thugs on ice for awhile. Not the only team in history to adopt that strategy. It took the Glorious Habs and Larry Robinson to right the league again. Without which it would've become unwatchable, or just a circus.
Not drawing a comparison though as I feel todays version is different. The dirtiness now is mostly sneaky, or cheating. Cheating on the ice, cheating cap, cheating with gambling, who knows.
I've had a consumer disconnect with pro sports for a longtime. The way I see it Pro sports in non secular times and increasingly devoid of other entertainments, pastimes, has become the new religion. Sociologically, functionally it is to the degree that people pledge allegiance, loyalty and give alms and build Arena/Stadia temples. Think about it. Its devout religion in form now. Complete with people fighting about it.
The whacked world of pro sports with tickets costing thousands and with gambling and alcohol sold in the temple, its not for me, never was. In the Words or Robert Frost I've usually taken the road less travelled.
Yes, the odds are stacked. Increasingly, and the world is rigged as it usually is to serve the few at the expense of all.
Quoth the raven never more.
Jarry? We are trying to improve goaltending, not make it worse.Maybe I’m crazy but I wouldn't mind going for Elvis Merzlikins. Seth Jones needed a change of scenery. Bob needed one too. If we don’t get Gibson, Demko or any other good goalie, go for Elvis. He’s a butterfly goalie and he’s good side to side (If CBJ retains salary)
or even Tristan Jarry
I cant stop thinking about Stauffer name dropping Boeser.
If hes willing to sign 7x7 its possible. Hes only 28, hes friends with guys on the team, hes a natural goal scorer and has a nose for the net. He would add a different element to the powerplay and was arguably vancouvers best player against us in the playoffs.
Adding a guy like that would definitely give us that extra layer of depth and skill that Kane wasn't able to provide.
It would be tough to squeeze him in but its definitely possible once we dump Arvidsson (and Henrique would have to go too).
Oloffason is a pp specialist who isn’t going to sniff our PP so I don’t think he works.Boeser would be an amazing add. Expensive and the cheaper option is Olofsson.
I’m of the opinion we can fill out our roster with Olofsson, Glass, Formenton for cheap. Even if we sign Boeser we can make room for one or two of those guys. Add in Phil Savoie OReilly and the forward group will be improved.
He’s a Jeff Skinner type player. Which we know doesn’t work with Knoblauch.I think he has an interesting skill set. He has the ability to score obviously.
The term on that deal scares me though.
Knoblauch demands defensive responsibilities. Cant say I disagree with that. He’s a Jeff Skinner type player. Which we know doesn’t work with Knoblauch.

Didn't think it all unhinged. Glad people appreciated the take from an Original fan of the Bill Hunter 1972 version of this club who was a guy that would give tickets to next game if fans were unsatisfied with the game attended.Appreciate the thoughtful response to a jaded fan’s unhinged diatribe![]()
Maybe he wants a shot at the cup and is willing to sign in Edmonton on a 1yr deal x 6M deal.I cant stop thinking about Stauffer name dropping Boeser.

Hopefully it's for an outlandish return that we couldn't have matched.Utah should welcome JJ Peterka to their lineup with open arms
Maybe got his input re Kane and Arvidsson exits and reviewed some of the guys they are targeting to keep McD in loopIt just got me thinking, why the need to fly out for a meeting with McDavid before they’re even supposed to be allowed to talk contract extension? I’m thinking it might actually be Nurse, or (gulp) Bouchard, and they needed to sell Conner on the plan before going ahead. Or maybe there’s nothing to it, and this feeling is just fallout from taco Tuesday.![]()
