I wish this were true, but the weather, atmosphere, facilities, no state tax will still attract many players.Vegas has to hit a point where players just won't want to sign there.
I lol'd at that last sentence!I wish this were true, but the weather, atmosphere, facilities, no state tax will still attract many players.
Even if you run the risk of being traded to Columbus or somewhere 5 minutes later.

Yeah, it was more wishful thinking. It seems like every year there's some other player that gets screwed over in Vegas, or leaves unhappy like Marchessault, so dare to dream...
Well they are still a good team. If that changes they might well be like San Jose or Anaheim before long.Yeah, it was more wishful thinking. It seems like every year there's some other player that gets screwed over in Vegas, or leaves unhappy like Marchessault, so dare to dream...

Moonlight Bunny Ranch ftw!Don't forget the non-stop access to hookers, strippers, and drugs, lol.
Moonlight Bunny Ranch ftw!
Pro scouting was one thing I felt Holland improved here but amateur scouting I felt was better under Chiarelli. If only we had a guy who could legitimately balance both.

It's only a matter of time before someone from that organization finds themselves compromised. And those players and staff better keep close tabs on their families. It's sleazy but a constant reality.Don't forget the non-stop access to hookers, strippers, and drugs, lol.

As soon as they stop winning I think you will see top players baulking at going there. They were handed a great hand to play off of the expansion draft. But their time seems to be nearing an end to me. Their core is aging and they have started to really build a reputation for dealing with players the wrong way. The way they handled Marchessault was another red flag. A key will be what they do with Theodore who has been their best defenseman for several years on a great team friendly contract. Do they reward him for his play or toss him aside for the next shiny toy. My guess is the latter and that will be one more step in their demise.I wish this were true, but the weather, atmosphere, facilities, no state tax will still attract many players.
